I don't think it's as simple as if you don't like it, don't use it - because they are there for a reason: and not using something obviously leaves you at a disadvantage.
The games should be about the players picked, and the tactics used.Ĭhanging formation is much more realistic than a shout or half time team talk. Everyone who have played Football Manager 2018 or any of the earlier versions know that feeling when your youth academy finds that crazy good 5 star potential 16 year old regen or when after spending ages on scouting finally find that unknown 17 years old. IMO (and it is just mine, and I'm not saying I am more right than anyone else.) once you introduce too many things that influence the result, it becomes really, really hard to know what results are down to what actions. Half time team talks I really, really hate.
Thing for me is full fm is to bloaty,realistic dont get me wrong,but i dont have the patience for all that,but at same time for me fmt is to streamlined, little things like during a match im losing i feel like i cant have any effect on the result unless i change formation.this is where id love to see manager shouts,or at least a half time team talk.i no a few dont want it but surely if thats not for you,just dont use it.
